Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 78 billion through two tranches on Sunday, 5 October.
The first tranche stood at EGP 30 billion and will mature in 91 days on 7 October 2026, according to official data.
The second offering hit EGP 48 billion, holding a tenor of 273 days until 6 July next year.
Last Thursday, the CBE unveiled T-bills valued at EGP 98 billion through two auctions.
